Kara kuzhi paniyaram Recipe in Tamil style Preparation


Kuzhi Paniyaram Tamil
Kara kuzhi paniyaram is Prepared in Tamil nadu. It is a traditional dish. There are common two kuzhi paniyaram varieties are prepared.
1.    sweet kuzhi paniyaram recipe
2.   Kara kuli paniyaram recipe

Kara kuzhi paniyaram Recipe Ingredients
Idli rice - 1/2 kg
Ulad dal  - 50 g
Fenugreek seed – 1tsp
onion - 3
Curry leaves – little
Coriander leaves  - little
Green chillies - 3
Bengal gram dal - 1 tsp
Cumin seed- 1/2 tsp
Asafetida a pincg
Oil - required
Salt - required

How to Prepare Kuzhi Paniyaram Batter Recipe
Soak the rice and urad dal (Fenugree seeds with urad dal) separately for about four hours, grind (karakarappaga) and mix salt.
This should be prepared left for about 24 hours to get fermentation.
Chop the onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves, and chilli. Keep it aside
Now take a pan, add little oil and put mustard, cumin seeds, Bengal gram, asafetida one by one.
Then add the chopped onion, chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves fry as per your taste.
Add the fried mixture with already prepared kuzhi paniyaram batter recipe and mix well.
Use kuzhi paniyaram pan and prepare like usual paniyaram.  
Sweet kuzhi paniyaram recipe in tamil nadu is prepared with jiggery or rice with rice flour.

1.   coconut chutney + red chilli chutney
2.   Groundnut chutney
3.   Onion tomato chutney
